Drink more water!

Forbes informs us that a staggering 75% of Americans are persistently dehydrated. Such a situation is quite unnecessary and easily avoidable if one incorporates the simple habit of regular water consumption. As Dr. Kendra Frazier, the Senior Medical Director at Oak Street Health, puts it:

"Dehydration is the number one cause of midday fatigue. By the time you sense thirst, you're already well into dehydration."

Our bodies lose water on a daily basis through various means such as perspiration, respiration, and excretion. If this isn't remedied, it can result in a plethora of uncomfortable symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, lethargy, confusion, irritability, brain fog, constipation, infrequent urination, and muscle cramps.

Moreover, the lack of sufficient hydration can hamper the body's healing process, making it more susceptible to injuries. Dry muscles and bones may create friction against one another during movements, potentially leading to internal injuries. To prevent your muscles from tensing up or stiffening, it's critical to keep refreshing the fluid that resides between the skeletal muscles.

So, how can one ensure maintaining a healthy level of hydration?

Always have a water bottle at hand

Kickstarting your day with a glass of water is an effective way to set the tone for a well-hydrated day. The Karolinska Institutet recommends a healthy water intake of 1.5 - 2 litres per day for men.
Just as you always keep your mobile phone with you, make it a habit to carry a small water bottle wherever you go. Having the bottle within your line of sight more frequently encourages you to drink water, rather than having to make a conscious effort to get up and fetch a glass of water.

Maintain your electrolyte balance

Maintaining a good balance of electrolytes in your body is crucial. They fortify your muscles, reducing their tendency to tire quickly. Supernormal's 100 Recovery™ formula is your perfect ally for this. It offers a simple and efficient way to replenish your body with lost electrolytes.
